Arise, Be Still
Arise, my love
It's a brand new day
Arise, my love
I will show you the way
Arise, my love
With open wings
Arise, my love
Of glory sing
Arise, my love
With the strength of the River
Whose wild waters
Are a beauty unlike any other
Arise, my love
With the voice of the Wind
Whose Freedom sings
From beginning to end
Arise, my love
Be who you are
Arise, my love
You are my shining star
Arise, my love
And live your life
Without the fear
Of pain or strife
Know me, my love
For I love you
Know me, my love
For it is I who created you
I know your heart
I see your face
I have called you, my beloved
And I will save you from this place
Be still, my love
And learn to trust
Be still, my love
For I am love
Be still, my love
For there is hope
Be still and know
that I am God

But Moses pleaded with the Lord, “O Lord, I’m not very good with words. I never have been, and I’m not now, even though you have spoken to me. I get tongue-tied, and my words get tangled.”

NaNo Day 2
1,186 words.
It's day 2 and I only have 1,186 words.
If you could see me I would look like this -> (O_O)
Right now I have less than one day's worth of words and so much Halloween candy in me feel ready to explode.
Ahh NaNoWriMo, this I should have expected. To kick off a one month 50,000 word novel on the day America is trying to recover from their overnight sugar high is pure craziness, but crazy is my middle name (metaphorically anyway...).
So here I am: stomach aching, eyes hazy, and notebook taunting me. I better get back to work ;)

Changes
Blog:
As you can see I've changed the look of my blog. It's not really what I wanted but it will work until I find the perfect one.
Wardrobe:
Cold weather has finally come (yay!!!) and I find myself digging through my closet for something warm to wear. Admittedly, I was hoping to discover a lamp post but, alas, all I found were my winter clothes...
NaNoWriMo:
I did it. It being, of course, having signed up to be a WriMo. NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writers Month, and basically what I have to do is in the month of November write a 50,000 word novel from start to finish.
Daunting I know but also really exciting. So far I've come up with a plot and written a synopsis (which is all I'm really allowed to do while I wait for November) and I'm working on some othere stories so I don't start on this one.
Wish me luck!

Synopsis: The IF's
So my name is Alexandra and, guess what, I'm an IF. Yea that's right an Imaginary Friend.
I belong to Mary Jane Clayfield, a great kid with one problem; she's really really shy. Well my job, as an IF, is to be her friend until she can make some real ones.
My problem is the person she wants to be friends with. Harold Mann (the Hairy Mann) is, in my opinion, a huge jerk-face. Only... MJ doesn't believe me. Her greatest and worse feature is that she always sees the best in everyone. She doesn't believe that Harry could break her heart. She wants proof. But... I don't have any.
So I did a little digging... Okay I stalked him. But I still couldn't find anything against him.
And then the council found out. The IF council is a group of big-wig retired IF's who make and enforce the IF laws. When they found out that I was trying to prevent MJ from being friends with somebody they decided to send in someone new.
They sent Talia.
I had never met Talia before, I had never even heard of her, but the council wanted her to replace me so I had to train her. I taught her about MJ's routines, her family, her job (she works part time at a coffee shop), and other stuff like that.
It was only a week after Talia arrived that I realized there was something wrong. MJ started doing things that were out of character like stealing money from the cash register and yelling at her little brother. I pulled myself out of my sulking to find out that Talia was messing with MJ's head.
My kid needed me but the council said that if I did anything to mess up this transition I'd be de-IFed, unmade, banished...

Hallows Eve
Hallows Eve
Hallows eve, a holiday
For ghosts and ghouls
A fairy's day
Hallows eve, we'll trick-or-treat
Dress like creatures
With fear hearts beat
Hallows eve, the haunted house
Just down the block
Makes a lion, a mouse
Hallows eve, comes once a year
For spooks and goblins
To reap our fear
Hallows eve, or Halloween
The holiday that makes you scream
Everything's not as it seems
Hello Hallows eve

Daughters of the King
It has recently come to my attention how much social ideals affect every aspect of our lives. A girl will tell her friends that she is "in love" with someone but that her relationship with that guy will never be anything because he is "out of her league".
I'm here to tell you that that is ridiculous. Romans 11:34 says "For who has known the mind of the Lord?". God has a specific person for you in mind. His plan does not conform to this world's petty social rules.
In Isaiah there is a passage, ""For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are my ways your ways," says the Lord." Isn't it comforting to know that when the world fails us the Lord is not like them? The passage goes on to say, ""For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.""
As a Christain you are a daughter of the King of kings. You are a princess and that takes you higher then any clique and puts you in the highest of leagues.
If the one you know you're meant to be with can't see past the world's eyes to look into yours then he might not be the one you're meant to be with, but you have to give him a chance.
You can't write yourself off as a nothing when the God of all creation took the time to breathe you into life. He knows every hair on your head and He has called you by name to be his glorious daughter.
Whoever you are, wherever you are, and wherever you've been you are a daughter of the King. Any guy would be lucky to know you, so never say someone is out of your league...

Dreamer
Dreamer
Joy and laughter, tears we cry
Love and hate and live and die
Life should be a beautiful ride
Yes I'm a Dreamer
I know your sorrows and your pain
I know you're crying in the rain
My God can make you whole again
Yes I'm a Dreamer
So live your life and die for love
Be a light, show what you're made of
For all your life praise the One above
Yes I'm a dreamer

Weird Conversation...

Yesterday I went to a concert with Addison Road, Sanctus Real, and Jason Gray, and I got the chance to meet Jenny from Addison Road. I asked her to sign the T-shirt I had bought earlier that night and my friend Jessica asked her to sign her forehead but then said she was kidding. Jenny said that someone had actually asked her to sign their forehead before and so wasn't surprised by Jessica's strange request. Jenny also said that at one of her other concerts someone had actually brought her a medical mannequin's arm to sign. She said you could see the fake veins and stuff and that it was kind of gross... O.o

Never Again
For my bf Never-Again...
Never Again
I used to be in love with you
Thank you, Never Again
But then you broke my heart in two
Thank you, Never Again
So I won't cry for you now
Thank you, Never Again
To you again I'll never bow
Thank you, Never Again
I say farewell, I say ado
Thank you, Never Again
My heart I'm taking back from you
Thank you, Never Again
No more tears, no more pain
No more crying in the rain
I am finally over you
Thank you, Never Again

Update...
Hola, Bonjour, Salud, and Hello :)
I figured it was time to post again so here goes...
First of all I have decided to teach myself how to play the piano... haha Nana(my grandmother) has a lot of music and books and stuff for playing the piano and I've really always wanted to learn so right now I'm borrowing a book from that should help me to figure out how to read and write piano music. So far I can play Doe a deer(but only because I figured out how to play it after watching The Muppet Show a few weeks ago) and there's this really cool thing I made up but I haven't written it down because I don't know how to write piano music... (interesting little circle isn't it?).
Another thing I wanted to put down was this passage I've been working with in one of my novels(Diamond Shiner). I think the passage kind of relates to what the whole book is about.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
There is a time for everything,
And a season for every activity under heaven:
A time to be born and a time to die,
A time to plant and a time to uproot,
A time to kill and a time to heal,
A time tear down and a time to build,
A time to weep and a time to laugh,
A time to mourn and a time to dance,
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
A time to embrace and a time to refrain,
A time to search and a time to give up,
A time to keep and a time to throw away,
A time to tear and a time to mend,
A time to be silent and a time to speak,
A time to love and a time to hate,
A time to love and a time to hate,
A time for war and a time for peace.

Your Heart's Delight
Silent, stealthy, like the night
Searching for your heart's delight
Knocking, knocking, open the door
It's found what you've been waiting for
Open up, let it in
It's time to let your life begin
It's a gift for you, sent from above
You've finally found it, it's name is...
Love

feeding 'friend'sie
My mom, the every witty writer, was just telling me how she finally has over a hundred friends on facebook(she and my dad are writers too and they're working on getting connections that might help us get you know published lol). So anyway I'm sitting here at my computer and she's sitting at her's and she chuckles.
"What is it?" I ask, as usual.
"I have 44 friends online to chat."
I wait.
"It's a feeding 'friend'sie."
She laughs.
I laugh.
I blog...
:)

Strangers...
A stranger I am
A stranger to you
We used to be friends
Now I don't know what to do
Or who you are now
Or why you started this war
You ignore me now
When we pass by each other
We used to be friends
But now you're friends with another
So, strangers we are
I'm a stranger to you
We used to be friends
But now we're strangers...

Welcome...
Welcome to my blog Beautiful Dreamer. Let me say before I go any farther that I've never had a blog before so bear with me... Anyway, I guess I'll introduce myself. My name is Akira but here I'll go my The Dreamer. I have loved to write since I was young(though I have yet to master spelling...) and have started a lot of novels (not that I've ever finished any...). I also write poems and I've tried to write songs(keyword - tried). My room I call the black hole because I lose stuff in there even when it's clean(which I'm sure is not as often as my mom would like :p) I suppose some people might say I'm normal(the one's who haven't meet me...). And I'm really into music. I always have some song playing(in my head or otherwise). I also randomly quote movies and books(be afraid be very afraid). I love to read. I think I'm working on about three different books right now(Pride and Prejudice is one of them. I've never read it before but so far it's really good). As you can probably tell by now I talk a lot(or I would if people let me...) I guess that's all I'll burden you with for now...
