Blog:
As you can see I've changed the look of my blog. It's not really what I wanted but it will work until I find the perfect one.
Wardrobe:
Cold weather has finally come (yay!!!) and I find myself digging through my closet for something warm to wear. Admittedly, I was hoping to discover a lamp post but, alas, all I found were my winter clothes...
NaNoWriMo:
I did it. It being, of course, having signed up to be a WriMo. NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writers Month, and basically what I have to do is in the month of November write a 50,000 word novel from start to finish.
Daunting I know but also really exciting. So far I've come up with a plot and written a synopsis (which is all I'm really allowed to do while I wait for November) and I'm working on some othere stories so I don't start on this one.
Wish me luck!

Synopsis: The IF's
So my name is Alexandra and, guess what, I'm an IF. Yea that's right an Imaginary Friend.
I belong to Mary Jane Clayfield, a great kid with one problem; she's really really shy. Well my job, as an IF, is to be her friend until she can make some real ones.
My problem is the person she wants to be friends with. Harold Mann (the Hairy Mann) is, in my opinion, a huge jerk-face. Only... MJ doesn't believe me. Her greatest and worse feature is that she always sees the best in everyone. She doesn't believe that Harry could break her heart. She wants proof. But... I don't have any.
So I did a little digging... Okay I stalked him. But I still couldn't find anything against him.
And then the council found out. The IF council is a group of big-wig retired IF's who make and enforce the IF laws. When they found out that I was trying to prevent MJ from being friends with somebody they decided to send in someone new.
They sent Talia.
I had never met Talia before, I had never even heard of her, but the council wanted her to replace me so I had to train her. I taught her about MJ's routines, her family, her job (she works part time at a coffee shop), and other stuff like that.
It was only a week after Talia arrived that I realized there was something wrong. MJ started doing things that were out of character like stealing money from the cash register and yelling at her little brother. I pulled myself out of my sulking to find out that Talia was messing with MJ's head.
My kid needed me but the council said that if I did anything to mess up this transition I'd be de-IFed, unmade, banished...
But Moses pleaded with the Lord, “O Lord, I’m not very good with words. I never have been, and I’m not now, even though you have spoken to me. I get tongue-tied, and my words get tangled.”

Hallows Eve
Hallows Eve
Hallows eve, a holiday
For ghosts and ghouls
A fairy's day
Hallows eve, we'll trick-or-treat
Dress like creatures
With fear hearts beat
Hallows eve, the haunted house
Just down the block
Makes a lion, a mouse
Hallows eve, comes once a year
For spooks and goblins
To reap our fear
Hallows eve, or Halloween
The holiday that makes you scream
Everything's not as it seems
Hello Hallows eve

Daughters of the King
It has recently come to my attention how much social ideals affect every aspect of our lives. A girl will tell her friends that she is "in love" with someone but that her relationship with that guy will never be anything because he is "out of her league".
I'm here to tell you that that is ridiculous. Romans 11:34 says "For who has known the mind of the Lord?". God has a specific person for you in mind. His plan does not conform to this world's petty social rules.
In Isaiah there is a passage, ""For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are my ways your ways," says the Lord." Isn't it comforting to know that when the world fails us the Lord is not like them? The passage goes on to say, ""For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.""
As a Christain you are a daughter of the King of kings. You are a princess and that takes you higher then any clique and puts you in the highest of leagues.
If the one you know you're meant to be with can't see past the world's eyes to look into yours then he might not be the one you're meant to be with, but you have to give him a chance.
You can't write yourself off as a nothing when the God of all creation took the time to breathe you into life. He knows every hair on your head and He has called you by name to be his glorious daughter.
Whoever you are, wherever you are, and wherever you've been you are a daughter of the King. Any guy would be lucky to know you, so never say someone is out of your league...

Dreamer
Dreamer
Joy and laughter, tears we cry
Love and hate and live and die
Life should be a beautiful ride
Yes I'm a Dreamer
I know your sorrows and your pain
I know you're crying in the rain
My God can make you whole again
Yes I'm a Dreamer
So live your life and die for love
Be a light, show what you're made of
For all your life praise the One above
Yes I'm a dreamer

Weird Conversation...

Yesterday I went to a concert with Addison Road, Sanctus Real, and Jason Gray, and I got the chance to meet Jenny from Addison Road. I asked her to sign the T-shirt I had bought earlier that night and my friend Jessica asked her to sign her forehead but then said she was kidding. Jenny said that someone had actually asked her to sign their forehead before and so wasn't surprised by Jessica's strange request. Jenny also said that at one of her other concerts someone had actually brought her a medical mannequin's arm to sign. She said you could see the fake veins and stuff and that it was kind of gross... O.o
