Hello world, I'm back :) I know it's been awhile but I figured it was time to finally update my poor abandoned blog... Isn't it pretty :D (yes, I changed it awhile ago. Shhhhhhh).
Well, not much to say, just wanted to share this poem I wrote last year. One of my best so far, I think. Happy New Year guys!
The Proposal

Holding eternity within the hour
Life breaks over a sea of flowers
“Love me little or love me lots,
Never shall I be forgot”
Giving in or getting out
Happiness that toils with doubt
A choice that hangs me in the balance
To let you go without your malice
Or free my fears from their stronghold
And make this heart this time two-fold
This choice that I do have to make
Will color me whole or watch me break
This time I've held locked in my heart
Now will end or now will start
Though oppositions may arise
This time I'll look past my own eyes
I see you kneeling at the band
A tender heart held in my hands
A precious soul I can't unleash
So here's my answer: Please marry me
